Have you ever experienced a car that boasts your youthful excitement with dynamic performance and a class-leading level of high-tech features? Well that dream is about to become a reality, if you wake up and test drive the all-new Cerato Koup from KIA.
It is sleek and sporty, and this remarkable performance car touches the core of individuality through its driver, which explains why it is not only the flagship model in the Cerato range but looks set to shake up the entire coupé segment. Bold and athletic front styling cues create an aggressive, sporty stance, while the sleek and dynamic side and rear views embody a poised and powerful profile.
On the Go Features:
Kia has always been known for building quality, affordable cars and the first-generation Kia Cerato Koup made sense as an affordable two-door runabout, and now has the go to match the show. One of the big talking points with the new Koup is that it has much needed turbo power, with its 1.6 litre turbo model and 2.0 litre engine fitted with a six speed manual gearbox.
The design of the new Koup focused on a sportier yet stylish and dynamic design which balanced the proportions of the car, evoking an emotional driving experience for the driver. With its sleeker profile and a futuristic and dynamic styling, KIA Cerato Koup portrays a mash-type radiator grille that blends seamlessly into the new car design and round fog lights. The shoulder-line stands out from front to rear, which gives it a wedge shaped profile. The turbo is easily spotted by black side mirror caps, along with 18 inch rims. The soft touch plastics on the contact points inside, plenty of room for front and back occupants, and the 433 litre boot add to the mix.
- Bluetooth and Cruise Control functionality.
- A large 4.3 TFT-LCD centre – angled towards the driver.
- A sporty 3-gauge cluster with a 4.2 full colour TFT-LCD screen.
- Multi-function steering wheel allows you to control the audio system.
- Touch screen capability for high– end MP3 and USB compatible audio system.
Occupant safety is of utmost importance but you can rest assured. High tensile steel has been used extensively which contributes to a 37 per cent boost in torsional rigidity. It also features a six-airbag system that includes:
- Front Side Airbags
- Front & Back Curtain Airbags
- Duel Front Depowered Airbags
These are standard features of course, and the heavy braking now activates the hazard lights (which automatically disengage) to alert approaching cars.
The Cerato Koup is definitely a better car than the previous model in every area and although it looks like a sporty coupé, it does not compromise on passenger or load capacity, which will leave most owners satisfied.
