Kia Optima Car Review

July 08, 2013

Speed, comfort and style – the 2013 Kia Optima was designed from ingenuity.
Rory Carroll from Auto week describes the Optima as being the very best in its class, which includes the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Passat.
The styling conveys elegance, beauty and pure style. The interior has been improved to match the large styling of the outside.
The 2013 Kia Optima is available in four different trims: LX, EX, SX and the new-for-2013 SXL. There is a hybrid model, but it is not available in South Africa currently. The LX and EX models are designed with a base four-cylinder engine, while the SX and SXL trims have a turbocharged variant. All models are designed with an automatic transmission.
The 2.0 turbo-diesel four cylinder engine is powerful but quiet, a characteristic which is much appreciated. The breaking abilities are sharp while the steering is described as comfortable and responsive. Break assist and hill start assist are great qualities that the Optima holds, which help you start smoothly when parked on a hill. Bluetooth is also standard. Additional interior features such a seat heaters/coolers add to the overall attitude of the vehicle.
